Jafé is an Emmy Award Winning multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer from New York City with deep roots in Afro-Caribbean culture. After founding one of NYC's most eccentric live acts, political blues/rock/reggae outfit VIVA MAYDAY, Jafé went on to open for legendary artists including Living Colour, Dead Prez, Styles P, DasFX, and Dawn Penn.


After a long hiatus, Jafé lent his voice and instrumental skills to a handful of projects; Collaborating with artists such as Russ (Columbia Records), S'natra (Brasstracks), and Adrian Lau (OFF RECORD Studios), touring the world with international roots reggae star Taj Weekes & Adowa (VP/Jatta Records), producing dance records as the Funk/Electro duo LUVRS, and raging with Rap/Rockers OXYMORRONS (333 Wreckords).


In 2019, the Southeast Emmy Award for Best Commercial Public Service Announcement was awarded to The Latino Community Fund's #ESTAMOSAQUI Latinx Voter Mobilization

Campaign and to Jafé for his contribution of the sound score. He has since been using his production and composition skills to score media content, TV commercial spots, and campaign videos for Non-Profit and Social Justice Organizations.
